Day 1: NJP / BAGDOGRA - YUKSOME
Arrival NJP , sort break and breakfast and drive to Yuksom. The journey is about 5 hrs and enroute Lunch at Teesta or Jorethang followed by short break at Rabangla and further drive to Yuksom. Yuksom is a small village in Sikkim. It is said to be the first capital of Sikkim, very calm and peaceful. A real get-away for those who want to avoid the tourist crowd and hustle-bustle of the city life. It looks green, charming and even un-spoilt, although it is a frequently visited tourist destination in the state of Sikkim. It is located in a peaceful, cozy surrounding covered by high hills and lush green forest. This small, but beautiful village doesn’t look like a growing centre of urbanization, yet it has some decent facilities like hotels, restaurants, tour agencies etc. It’s the entry point for Kanchenjungha National Park and thus regularly visited by the trekkers and mountaineers from all around the world. In fact, many people think that the number of Indian visitors are far less than the foreign visitors. It’s a very beautiful place, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks (some of them are covered with snow throughout the year).

DAY 2: YUKSOME– UTTREY
Morning after breakfast depart for Uttrey via pelling. 5 hours from Gangtok, Bagdogra Airport, New Jalpaiguri (N.J.P.) Railway Station and Siliguri, three hours from Darjeeling and Kalimpong and one and a half hours from Pelling – Uttarey in extreme West Sikkim is the “Virgin and Hidden Paradise on Earth”, and also is popularly known as the “Base Camp of Adventure Tourism for the Singalila Range Eco-Tourism Trekking Trail Towards Khangchendzenga” and also an important “Gate Way of International-Indo-Nepal Border Trade Route” through Chewabhanjyangla pass.
Visit Kchepari Lake, Rimbi falls and Kanchenjungha falls. Enjoy your lunch at Pelling. Drive back to Uttrey. Overnight stay at hotel/homestay.
DAY 3: SIGHTSEEING AT UTTREY
Morning after breakfast take a walk of the village and meet local habitants followed by a day excursion to Gumpa Dara View Point (Mangheem & Monastry), Trout Fish Breeding Centre, Tenzing - Hellary Park.
Evening camp fire activities in open lawn under the roof of twinkling stars surrounded by the snow capped mountain ranges of the Kanchenjungha.
Overnight stay at hotel/homestay.
DAY4 : UTTREY – KALUK
Morning after breakfast depart to Kaluk, which is a small hamlet surrounded by hills, characterized by calm, serene and tranquil natural surroundings and excellent Himalayan views in Winter (Oct - March) Once can watch the majestic Khangchendzonga (Oct – March) and its lesser peaks standing tall from dawn to dusk on a clear day in Winter. visit Kaluk to luxuriate in the peaceful and pollution free surrounding and the see the great view of the mountains including Kanchenjunga range. Typical sightseeing options as available in more popular touristic destinations such as Pelling is not available here. However you may look at some of the following options.
Gurung Monastery – The monastery is located at a vantage point on top of the hill not far from the main road. From here you can have grand views of the southern hills although the snow capped mountains of the North are not visible from here.
Rinchenpong Monastery – Further south on the same ridge and at a slightly lower altitude the Rinchepong Monastery is located. From here you can have great views of Kanchenjunga range on a clear day.
Heritage House – The Lepcha heritage house was built in 1860. It contains rich paintings and will take you back in history.
You can also visit the Rinchenpong, Hee, Bermiok, Pelling, Hilley, Varsey etc from here which are all within an hours distance.

DAY 5: KALUK – ARITAR
Morning free at Kaluk and enjoy the panaromic view of snow capped mountain and after Late breakfast depart to Aritar via Rinchenpong. Aritar is about set amidst lush green forests, sweeping hills of paddy fields and placid lakes, Aritar, made famous by the Lampokhari lake is a beautiful hill station located on the Silk Route Sikkim. Aritar offers multitude options to visitors like trekking, adventure sports and nature trails. The most interesting place in Aritar is of course the Lampokhari Lake. Later lunch at teesta. Arrive Aritar by late evening and transfer to hotel and Night stay.
DAY 6: ARITAR - NJP / BAGDOGRA
Morning after breakfast free at Aritar. Later depart for NJP / Bagdogra by 11:00 AM and on the way Lunch at Teesta or Lohapul.
