ECNR clearance

Most Indian people travelling to most of the countries do not require ECNR. If an applicant has a passport issued before January 2007 and would like get the passport stamped with ECNR, can apply for ECNR.

 

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR ECNR CLEARANCE:

• All persons having educational qualifications of matriculation and above.
• All persons above the age of 50 years.
• All persons who have been staying abroad for more than three years (the period of three years could be either in one stretch or broken) and their spouses.

Time Duration: 15-30 days (Normal), 7-14 days (Tatkaal)
